Mac

Download for Mac macOS 11 or newer · Apple Silicon and Intel · VST3, AU and standalone

Double-click Gambit-Mac.pkg in your Downloads.
If your Mac says it can't be opened or can't check it for malicious software: click Done, open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to "Gambit-Mac.pkg", then confirm with your password.
Click Continue and Install. Quit your DAW first (Cmd+Q).
Open your DAW and load Gambit on an instrument track. Bought it? Click I have a code and paste your code. Otherwise just play the trial.

You only allow it once. The step is there because Gambit is new to Apple's list; everything it installs then opens normally.

Windows

Download for Windows Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit · VST3 and standalone

Right-click Gambit-Windows.zip > Extract All.
Close your DAW completely, then double-click Install Gambit (Windows).bat and click Yes.
If you see "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway.
Open your DAW and rescan plug-ins (FL Studio: Options > Manage plugins > Find plugins). Load Gambit: paste your code, or play the trial.

The installer puts Gambit.vst3 in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and adds a desktop shortcut for the standalone app.
