The First Online Multiplayer VST: Battle Producers Inside Your DAW

Beat battles have always happened on stage, on stream or in the comments. Gambit puts the battle inside the plugin. It's the first online multiplayer VST instrument: you play chess against another producer, live, inside your DAW.

How it works

• Click Play online and get matched with a producer near your rating, or send a friend a game code.
• Rated games are 5-minute blitz, with the clocks run on a server, so nobody can stall.
• Every move generates sounds. Only the winner keeps the sounds from a rated game; the loser's are locked. A draw means both players keep them.
• No eval bar, hints, take-backs or move verdicts against a person. Every point is earned.
• If your DAW crashes, reopen Gambit and rejoin the same game.

Why it works in any DAW

Only the chess moves travel over the internet. Each player hears their own Gambit, at their own tempo, in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Studio One or any DAW that loads VST3 or AU, on Windows and Mac.
